Sabian: The new Stratus products have arrived!
The professional Stratus cymbal range, unveiled by Sabian in November 2023, now includes two new models and its first cymbal pack.
Stratus cymbals are defined as professional-quality cymbals, highly versatile, and designed for a wide spectrum of drummers and styles. They are made from the same B20 bronze as the AAX and HHX series. However, only the Stratus series benefits from the "High Impact" hammering, a specific process that greatly enhances the sound of these cymbals.
The new Splash Stratus
The new 10-inch Splash Stratus features a thin profile designed to blend quickly into the mix. Its traditional bell size offers increased volume potential, while its high-impact hammering reduces resonance, allowing this splash to stand out effectively in music.
The new Cirro Stax Stratus
The new 12-inch Cirro Stax Stratus stack features a raw 12-inch top side and a lathed bottom, reducing friction and contributing to a handcrafted design with wavy, flexible edges. The 12-inch bottom is flat and raw. The combination of the two creates a structure that can be tightened for a shorter attack or left loose for a sizzle effect. The 12-inch top can also be played alone to create a striking phaser sound.
The very first Stratus promotional pack
Sabian also introduces the very first Stratus promotional pack. All Sabian cymbals are "harmonized" by our specialists, ensuring a ready-to-use set straight out of the box. This Stratus promotional pack includes: a 14-inch hi-hat, a 16-inch crash, an 18-inch crash, and a 20-inch ride.
