Sabian: the Stratus range is expanding!

The Stratus range of professional cymbals welcomes two new models and its first promotional cymbal pack.

Stratus cymbals are professional-quality, versatile cymbals for a wide range of drummers and styles. They are made from the same bronze (B20) as the AAX / HHX series. However, only the Stratus series benefits from ‘High Impact’ hammering, a specific process that greatly enhances the sound of these cymbals.

The new Splash Stratus

The new 10-inch Splash Stratus has a slim profile designed to blend quickly into the mix. Its traditional bell size offers increased volume potential, while its high-impact hammering reduces resonance, allowing this splash to stand out effectively in the music.

The new Cirro Stax Stratus stack

The new Cirro Stax Stratus 12-inch stack features a raw 12-inch front and turned back face, which reduces friction and contributes to a handcrafted design with wavy, flexible edges. The 12-inch bottom is flat and rough. The combination of the two creates a structure that can be tightened to shorten the attack or left loose for a sizzle effect. The 12’ top can also be played on its own to create a punchy phaser sound.

The very first Stratus promotional pack

Sabian also includes the very first Stratus promotional pack. All Sabian cymbals are ‘harmonised’ by our specialists. This guarantees a ready-to-use set, straight out of the box. This Stratus promotional pack includes: a 14‘ hi-hat, a 16’ crash, an 18‘ crash and a 20’ ride.
