ECOCORD: The Eco-Friendly Cable

Thinking about the future, walking the path of sustainability, working together to preserve our planet... Today, it is vital to take responsibility, and embracing this essential obligation is one of the cornerstones of Cordial's philosophy. For the users, for our environment.

As part of this initiative, Cordial is introducing a new generation of instrument cables.

An eco-responsible approach

For the development of its new ECOCORD range, Cordial has completely eliminated PVC and is using an alternative known as TPE-V. This 100% recyclable material offers similar advantages in terms of flexibility and durability.

The production is entirely carried out in Europe, which helps reduce supply chains and minimize the ecological footprint.

Furthermore, to offset components like the copper used, Cordial has partnered with the renowned non-profit organization Trees for the Future (TREES). For every ECOCORD cable sold, a tree will be planted.

As for the connectors, the integrated Jack plugs are from the NEUTRIK brand, featuring a Shabby Chic style that highlights the unique character of the cables. Their specific design evokes the elegant patina of vintage metal pieces.

The ECOCORD instrument cables are available in lengths of 3 or 6 meters, with straight and/or angled plugs, also offered in a silent version (silentPLUG®).

For pedal connections, Cordial expands its range by offering the ECOCORD series as patch cables with pancake plugs featuring Rean connectors (by NEUTRIK).

Cordial pedalboard

All ECOCORD cables are equipped with double shielding made of copper braid and conductive plastic (to minimize microphonic effects) and feature a conductor cross-section of 0.50 mm² (conductor resistance < 39 Ω/km), ensuring exceptionally clear signal transmission.

Finally, the packaging is logically made from recycled cardboard and is FSC® Mixed certified.
