Ernie Ball welcomes 5 new Slinkys to its world-famous Slinky Family.

Ernie Ball is proud to welcome 5 new Slinkys to the family! Zippy, Hyper, Magnum, and Skinny Top Heavy Bottom electric guitar sets plus a new Hyper Slinky bass set are now available.

Zippy Slinky

Zippy Slinkys are now officially the lightest gauge combination offered by Ernie Ball. This combination is perfect for players looking for a snappy set of strings with an extra zing that are easy to bend and provide the least amount of tension.

Gauge combination: 7, 9, 13, 20w, 26, 36

Hyper Slinky

Hyper Slinkys sit neatly between the popular Super Slinky and Extra Slinky strings while providing a light, fast feel with slightly less tension on the top strings. This combination is perfect for players who are looking for added playability with minimal differences in tone and tension to the Super Slinky strings.

Gauge combination: 8,11,14, 24w, 32, 42

Magnum Slinky

Magnum Slinky strings are ideal for players who prefer a heavier set with a wound G. This combination is perfect for players who want optimal tension at drop tunings for heavy riffs and chugging chords.

Gauge combination: 12, 16, 22w, 32, 44, 56

7-string Skinny Top Heavy Bottom Slinky

Skinny Top Heavy Bottom 7-string Slinkys extend the popular 6-string gauge combination for 7-string players. This set is the ultimate mixture for lead players who love to bend for solo work coupled with a heavy bottom end for rhythm and chords.

Gauge combination: 10, 13, 17, 30, 42, 52, 62

Hyper Bass Slinky

Hyper Bass Slinky strings sit nicely between Super Slinky Bass and Extra Slinky Bass strings for a fast feel and slightly less tension on the top strings. This set works great for fast playing and slapping.

Gauge combination: 40, 60, 80, 100
