Dealer in the Spotlight: Huigens Music

Today’s dealer in the spotlight is already among us for more than a century. Huigens Music has been around for quite some time. It was founded in 1909 by the great-grandfather of the recent owner Kenneth Huigens. Huigens Music has a great history but also a great collection of instruments, installations and accessories. They sell brands like Martin Guitars, Nord Keyboards, Marshall, Ernie Ball, Focusrite and much more.

"I am the fourth generation," says Kenneth Huigens. “We have been in Hengelo since 1940. First at the Nieuwstraat and later at the Sloetsweg. At the moment we are located at the Höltersweg close to the highway.”

Huigens Music School

Huigens Music also commits to teach people how to play music. For more than 30 years, Huigens connects qualified music teachers with their customer students. A lot of people walk in a music store to start daydreaming about them playing the guitar or the piano… but at Huigens, that dream can become reality. The courses range from guitar-, piano- and singing lessons to music theory lessons.
