AB Team Gear: Andy's Takamine EG540SSC Acoustic Guitar

A while ago, we have introduced our team members on social media. Now, it’s time for them to present their musical gear. Today, it’s time for our internal NL Sales Coordinator, Andy Beliën. Andy started playing guitar at 8 years old. A few years later, this guitar was his birthday present. Read more below the picture to discover the full story:

“This Takamine EG540SSC was a birthday present from my parents years ago when i was about 12-13 years old. I was doing well in my classical guitar classes so they decided to treat me with an acoustic guitar.  I remember that we went to Music Vanderheyden in Geel to pick a guitar, eventually I picked this Takamine guitar because I really liked the looks and the sound of it. The funny thing is that, years later, I started working in this store. The store where my first guitars and effect pedals came from but more importantly, the place that stuck to me from the first time that I ever touched a guitar. Everyday when I walked into that store, I smelled the same smell that i smelled 13-14 years ago when I had the first guitar I ever played in my hands” Andy said. 

“During my time as a part of the Vanderheyden team i learned a lot and I’m very happy that I started working there.  It made me dig into music even more and eventually it gave me the experience that i need for my current job at Algam Benelux.”
