Creating Custom Mode templates is achieved using Novation’s free  Components application, which can be accessed directly from MIDI-compatible browsers (such as Chrome and Opera) or via a downloadable standalone app.

Once your Launchpad is connected, it’s as simple as creating a New Custom Mode and dragging any of the available Fader, Notes, or Control Buttons widgets onto the Launchpad display.

When you’re ready to test your template, simply send to your Launchpad, select the Custom Mode slot, and overwrite it.
