The La Perù EVO Racine is made from solid alder, with a beech back and a textured veneer striking surface. The striking surface is half glued and half screwed, giving the typical bass sound of La Perù models. While the alder body amplifies the bass, the 2 x 4 strands, fanned out behind the striking surface, produce rich, ultra-precise snare drum sounds.
