Lâg Guitars announces the launch of BlueWave. New Smart Guitar models in the Smart Lâg series.

Following the release of the first Smart Guitar, Lâg continues to assert its innovative character with this new BlueWave series. Lâg makes the Smart Guitar more accessible, both in terms of cost and use.

The series comprises two BlueWave 1 models and five BlueWave 2 models.

A smart, easy-to-handle guitar

The new BlueWave preamp, designed by Lâg, lets you add two reverb and delay effects to your acoustic guitar, without the need for cables, pedals or other gadgets. The rechargeable system excites the guitar's self-amplifying soundboard and graces your tone with studio-quality effects wherever you are. Connect your guitar via Bluetooth to your smartphone to stream music, whether you're playing over it or simply enjoying a Bluetooth speaker. The effects can be used simultaneously and also in Bluetooth mode.

BlueWave 1: original design and small size

The BlueWave 1 series offers two models in Travel format, one with steel strings and the other with nylon strings.

This is the first Smart Lâg in Travel format, and the first Lâg Travel in Folk Nylon version. Featuring a solid top in transparent black-stained Red Cedar and a body in Khaya Mahogany, all with a satin finish to great effect, they lack neither projection nor charm for a reasonable budget.

  • Top: Solid Red Cedar, Black stained satin finish

  • Back & sides: Laminated Khaya, satin finish

  • Bridge: Brown BrankoWood

  • Neck: Khaya mahogany

  • Neck finish: Satin

  • Trussrod: 2-way system

  • Fingerboard: Brown BrankoWood

  • Headstock: Brown BrankoWood

  • Preamp: BlueWave with built-in Reverb & Delay effects & Bluetooth

Bluewave 2: the main Lâg formats in a refined finish

While remaining accessible, the BlueWave 2 models are adorned with more luxurious finery, with the choice of Santos Rosewood for the body, gloss varnish and designer mechanics.

To make the Smart Lâg accessible to all, the BlueWave 2 series will be available in the main Lâg acoustic formats: Dreadnought (and its left-handed version), Auditorium, Travel and Classic.

  • Top: Solid Red Cedar, gloss finish

  • Back & sides: Laminated Santos Rosewood, gloss finish

  • Bridge: Brown BrankoWood

  • Neck finish: Satin

  • Trussrod: 2-way system

  • Fingerboard: Brown BrankoWood
