Discover the new generation of Headrush speakers, the FRFR MK2!

HeadRush, manufacturer of amp/effects processors and sound systems for guitarists and bassists, is proud to present its brand new generation of FRFR (Full Range Flat Response) loudspeakers with ever more impressive performance: the FRFR108 MK2 and FRFR112 MK2.

These powerful 2000 and 2500W peak active loudspeakers are the perfect companions for guitarists and bassists looking for a sound system that combines power, precision and neutrality, capable of accurately reproducing the sound coming from their HeadRush amp and effects processor.

The ideal companion for amp and effects processors

FRFR speakers, which stand for 'Full Range Flat Response', are specially designed to take advantage of the quality of the amp, speaker and effects models built into your guitar and bass processors, such as HeadRush Prime, Core or MX5. Unlike a guitar amp, whose amp-preamp section and loudspeaker with its distinctive sound often add undesirable colour to your models, FRFR loudspeakers offer a pure, transparent sound that won't distort your models. Powerful and precise, the FRFR108 and FRFR112 MK2 deliver enough power for jam sessions, rehearsals and concerts.

A powerful, balanced sound

The FRFR108 and FRFR112 MK2 deliver up to 2,000 and 2,500W peak power respectively, giving you plenty of reserve power for all your performances and rehearsals. Equipped with an 8" and 12" driver and a treble compressor specially developed for this application, the FRFRs offer a rich, accurate response across the entire frequency range, with no artificial coloration to make the most of your modelling system.

Full connectivity and Bluetooth

The FRFR108 and FRFR112 MK2 incorporate two XLR/jack combo inputs for connecting your amp processor or pedalboard, with independent volume controls. To stream music during your rehearsals or breaks from a wireless device with ease, these two speakers are equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 module with dedicated volume control. To complete this rich interface, an XLR output is also available for daisy-chaining several speakers or sending the FRFR signal to a mixing console.

Deal with any situation

The sound of a room can quickly become busy and muddled when the low frequencies of different instruments mix together. The FRFRs feature a high-pass filter switch that quickly eliminates these unwanted frequencies and preserves a sound that will blend seamlessly into the final mix. A ground lift switch also eliminates hum from ground loops on the electrical circuit.

The perfect tour companion

The FRFR MK2 loudspeakers combine exemplary robustness with low weight, making them easier than ever to load and transport to the concert hall or your rehearsal space. Ideal on the floor in a personal monitor configuration, the FRFRs feature a versatile design that allows them to be deployed in a vertical position or on a speaker mast, so you can easily send sound wherever you want. This versatility is particularly useful for open-air concerts or any venue where the availability of sound equipment is limited.
