Zwerfkeet, the musical studio on wheels, partners with Focusrite, Novation, Mackie and Lâg Guitars
Zwerfkeet, the music project of Graffiti vzw, is a touring music studio that brings music closer to culturally deprived neighborhoods in Belgium. Together with Sony Music, Zwerfkeet offers the opportunity for young people to record their own tracks, for free, under supervision of professional coaches. The Zwerfkeet team asked us to fill this mobile studio with professional, music equipment.
We can now gladly announce that they choose Focusrite interfaces, Novation MIDI controllers, Lâg Guitars and a Mackie sound system to work with. The Zwerfkeet will be in Genk for 10 days, from Wednesday the 26th of October until Friday the 4th of November, and will end with a big party on Saturday!
Zwerfkeet Sessions in Genk
From Wednesday until Sunday, some of the coaches will be hosting an open mic session at the train station in Genk. On Monday, there will be music production and rap workshops, and from Tuesday until Friday, the Zwerfkeet will be open for visitors. Make sure to fill in this form to participate!

About Zwerfkeet
The Zwerfkeet journey started in 2019. Within 3 years, the format evolved thanks to the founders, inspirers, rappers Wietse and Fatih, Zwerfkeet goerroe Kwame Mullz, the various rap coaches, the many partners and all the young people whose backgrounds, stories and passion for music shaped the project.
Locally anchored youth partners brings the Zwerfkeet together with youth hotspots and more than 100 young people recorded their own track. All recorded tracks were compiled into one show.
