Our music store in the spotlight today is Van Weersel in Eschede (NL). Van Weersel & Zn. was founded in 1931 and has become a specialist in repairs, maintenance and sales of musical instruments. They sell awesome brands like Vic FIrth, Coolwind, Gon Bops and lots of string brands like Martin Authentic Acoustic, Ernie Ball, Elixir Strings, …

Of course service, repairs, maintenance and overhauls are done in their own workshops, by professionals with a solid education and much practical experience gained in various musical instrument factories and repair shops in Europe. Since 1970 they have been engaged in the development of their own wind instruments.

Fun Fact

Our Sales Director, Koen Vergoossen, has some good memories about this place. In 1979, at the age of 14, he went from Limburg to Enschede to demonstrate some organs at the store of Van Weersel. He sold several organs that weekend and that was probably the beginning of his career in sales :-)
