De Snaar started in 1978 as a piano and organ store. Five years later, in 1983, the store moved to another location in Heerenveen. Harry bought the premises at Heideburen 11 and this is where the store is still located nowadays.
In 2002, the building at Heideburen 11 expanded. The store area was twice as large after this improvement. More space means more gear so that’s why De Snaar has a large assortment of instruments and strings.
At De Snaar, it is Harry and Jeroen’s mission to make the consumer leave the store as satisfied as possible. Service and quality is a top priority. So if there is something wrong with your instrument, don’t hesitate to contact or visit Harry or Jeroen.
