Dealer in the Spotlight: Dijkman Muziek

Today’s Dealer in the Spotlight is Dijkman Muziek. This is an all-round music store located at the Rozengracht in Amsterdam. They have a rich history, since 1958, and a huge selection of gear and instruments to choose from. Since January 2006, Dijkman Muziek has a second store in the heart of Alkmaar.

The store was founded in 1958 by Willem Dijkman, who initially formed a musical comedy duo together with his wife. They performed mainly at weddings and parties. After having started selling musical instruments, the company moved in 1960 to the street where Dijkman is still located today.

At that time, it was a revolutionary decision to start selling electric guitars, basses and drum sets.

Nowadays, the store has 2 building and a webshop. They sell awesome brands like Rickenbacker, Martin Guitars, Marshall amplifiers, SIGMA, Lâg Guitars, Nord Keyboards, Focusrite, Novation, Dunlop products and much much more…
