Dealer in the Spotlight: Rock 'n Roll Store Amersfoort
Today’s dealer in the spotlight is Camiel de Kruijf and his Rock ‘n Roll Store in Amersfoort. This store opened its doors only a month ago and it tries to separate itself from other music stores by selling an exclusive selection of vintage gear. He also offers new Lâg Guitars, CODE Drum Heads for your drum kit, Ernie Ball strings, pedals, accessoiries and much more!
This is Camiel de Kruijf. Owner of the new Rock ‘n Roll Store in Amersfoort. For the past fifteen years, Camiel has ben producing cool events all over The Netherlands. He worked with world stars like Beyoncé and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but also with local bands and artists.
Besides his work in the event industry, Camiel opened the Rock ‘n Roll Store. A nice addition to the city of Amersfoort where you can buy musical instruments with a story.
“I have collected a lot over the past fifteen years. Some of the instruments in the store come from musicians, some I bought myself. Some amplifiers have seen all of Europe and some instruments have toured with cool bands. They have been used, but that's what makes them so beautiful." Camiel says.
"For the latest guitars and comparing thirty different instruments, you don't need to come to me," the entrepreneur continues. "This is all about the story of the instruments. The first dent or scratch in your guitar, that hurts the most. But it's already there with these guitars. They've lived." That's what makes the instruments more beautiful, according to the entrepreneur. "Someone has already enjoyed it, so can the person who buys it. These instruments have made beautiful music."
