Modal Electronics CRAFTsynth 2.0 Update Available Now!

Modal Electronics just announced the new firmware v1.4 with new features and software improvements for their CRAFTsynth 2.0.

Because CRAFTsynth 2.0 powerful monophonic wavetable engine with 8 oscillators provides a wide spectrum of sonic textures, it found a lot of friends amongst DAWless electronic musicians, music producers and Electronic Wind Controller Performers. 

 

New Features

  • MIDI Breath Control (CC 2) messages can now be mapped to either Modulation Wheel, Aftertouch, or Expression Pedal modulation destinations. Use the new global setting available on MODALapp to configure this.


Improvements

  • Fixed issue when using an external MIDI source with the 'Window Amp Sync' Osc Modifier, where MIDI messages will appear broken and cause erratic behaviour

  • Fixed Auto-Glide behaviour

  • Fixed issue where the previously set MIDI Pitch Bend Range setting value wouldn't be applied on device power on

  • Fixed issue where holding multiple keyboard touch pads whilst changing the keyboard scale could cause hanging notes
