Our dealer in the spotlight today is Muziekhuis Souman. Souman has been a household name in the music industry for over 43 years now. They sell great brands like Martin Guitars and strings, Dunlop, MXR, WayHuge Electronics, EBS Sweden, Ernie Ball, Focusrite, Aguilar and much much more!

For more than 43 years now, Muziekhuis Souman has been a household name in the music world. Founder Geurt Souman started his own store in the Clematisstraat in Wezep in 1977 at a young age. With an area of 250m2, the first pianos and organs were presented and sold.

Some time later, there was an expansion of the store and they moved to another building. The company moved to the Stationsweg in Wezep.

Service and quality, craftsmanship and maintenance, having ‘just a cup of coffee', … It all became standard at Muziekhuis Souman. This became known to many musicians and consumers, a step forward in the world of music! And another expansion followed… This time in the form of the assortment and more instruments were added to the collection.

A great guitar department was opened upstairs and the service and quality (or in other words; the passion), could be found there as well! Michael, (the guitar specialist) was brought in as a piano tuner but had a love for the guitar and ran the guitar department for several years.

Nowadays, you can buy both acoustic and electric guitars at Souman.

You can find Muziekhuis Souman at Rendementstraat 1, 8094 RA Hattemerbroek (near Zwolle). Souman once started with love for the profession, and this will be continued with passion for the next given years.
