Discover the brand new Martin Guitar models for 2021!

Winter NAMM is a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less exciting. From the David Gilmour Signature models to the plastic-free 00L Earth guitar, Martin Guitar brings you more excitement than ever.

D-35 DAVID GILMOUR

This guitar is a nod to David’s treasured D-35, his main recording & writing companion for over four decades, but it’s also an instrument for him today, with a style and sound all its own.

The David Gilmour signature models are the first D-35s ever made with neck, back and sides of sinker mahogany, chosen by David for its warm, rich tones and exquisitely beautiful grain. Martin added an Adirondack spruce Vintage Tone System top for an old-world sound and matched that with antique white binding and vintage gloss finish, Waverly Relic Nickel tuners. A unique neck shape & fingerboard pattern were crafted to David’s specification for this guitar, while a special headstamp is featured on the reverse of the headstock. The signature models are limited to 250 pieces and every label is hand-signed by David himself, ensuring this guitar’s place on every collector’s wish list. Through this partnership, Martin Guitar is proud to support the David Gilmour Charitable Foundation.

D-35 DAVID GILMOUR 12 STRING

For over forty years his Martin D12-28 12 string was a constant in David Gilmour’s recording & song writing palette. When this guitar went to auction in 2019 Martin was delighted to be able to work with him to create a 12 string for his music today.

The David Gilmour signature models are the first D-35s ever made with neck, back and sides of sinker mahogany, chosen by David for its warm, rich tones and exquisitely beautiful grain. A Carpathian Spruce top delivers unparalleled 12 string tone with Martin’s vintage gloss finish and antique white binding providing classic ‘Golden Era’ Martin style. In addition, a special David Gilmour headstamp is featured on the reverse of the headstock. The signature models are limited to 250 pieces and every label is hand-signed by David himself, ensuring this guitar’s place on every collector’s wish list. Through this partnership, Martin Guitar is proud to support the David Gilmour Charitable Foundation.

T1K UKULELE STREETMASTER®

It looks like an old friend you’ve been playing for years, but this new Uke is like no other ukulele Martin has ever made.

Martin has been making tenor-sized ukuleles since 1929, but nothing quite like this. An ultra-thin finish creates a beautifully weathered appearance that feels as if it’s an old friend you’ve been playing for years. The top, back and sides are all mahogany, making it lightweight with a bright tone. If you play guitar and want to learn the uke, this size makes for a comfortable transition, and it's great for both a child and full-grown adult. The T1 StreetMaster® brings together premier sound, outstanding playability, and easy affordability in one gorgeous instrument.

00L EARTH

Help protect the planet with this work of art.

It’s not just a guitar. It’s a call to action on climate change. A reminder to preserve the planet for future generations. To show their dedication to this cause, Martin has created the first acoustic guitar that is both 100% FSC®-certified and 100% plastic-free. Its top, emblazoned with a work by renowned artist Robert Goetzl, is as stunning as it is powerful, a reminder of what Martin is fighting for. And even the gig bag is sustainable: made from hemp—a Martin first. So play, preserve, and protect the planet with the most environmentally friendly guitar on earth.

CONCERT UKULELE FSC

A serious ukulele that makes a serious statement about your commitment to the planet.

Built for serious players who want premium tone in an environmentally friendly instrument, this concert-sized ukulele features a top, back, and sides made from 100% FSC®-certified mahogany. You can feel good knowing that all the wood in this ukulele is responsibly sourced, and you’ll look and sound even better. It’s constructed with an applied dovetail mahogany neck for extra stability, it sports Ratio® tuners—a new feature on Martin ukes—to get you in tune quickly and accurately, and its satin finish adds the perfect amount of shine. Set the right tone for the planet with the Concert Ukulele FSC.

DJR-10E STREETMASTER®

Sure, it looks cool, but this instrument is also super-comfortable and playable, thanks to a thinner body and a high-performance tapered neck.

Enjoy the booming, full sound of a Dreadnought in a smaller, more playable size with the DJR-10E StreetMaster. Its distinctive, distressed finish has a comfortably worn look that feels as if it’s an old friend you’ve been playing for years. But it doesn’t just look cool; this instrument is super-comfortable and playable, thanks to a thinner body and a high-performance neck taper. And when you climb on stage or step into the studio, high-performance Fishman®Sonitone electronics make it easy to plug in and play your heart out. Whether it’s your first guitar or the one you take to gigs, the DJR-10E StreetMaster will take you to new musical places.

0XK CONCERT UKULELE

Hand-selected Hawaiian koa gives this instrument the rich grain pattern of a much more expensive ukulele.

Part of our X Series, this beautiful-sounding ukulele has top, back and sides made from durable high-pressure laminate (HPL). Martin hand-selected the finest Hawaiian koa to give this instrument the rich grain pattern of a much more expensive ukulele. But, because it is made from HPL, you can take this concert uke anywhere—the beach, the stage, a road trip— and your only worry will be what song to play next. It may be Martin’s lowest-priced uke, but you’d never know it from the way it looks and sounds.

GRAND J-16E 12 STRING

Martin’s turning up the volume with this full-bodied, muscular guitar that generates well-balanced harmonics and a strong, solid low end.

Ideal for experienced players looking to build on their skills, the Grand J-16E 12 String is a full-bodied, muscular guitar that generates well-balanced harmonics with a strong, solid low end. Martin crafts it in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, with East Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top, so this powerhouse looks as good as it sounds. They also added scalloped X-bracing to create beautifully resonant tone that fills the room even when unplugged. And, while playing a 12 string can be challenging, the high-performance taper neck makes this one comfortable-playing, big-sounding guitar.

GPC-13E AND D-13E ZIRICOTE

These are professional-grade guitars with super-model good looks. Check them out – after you’ve picked your jaw up off the floor.

When you look at the D-13E and GPC-13E, you may have to pick your jaw off the floor. Their back and sides are crafted using a fine veneer of ziricote—a tonewood with a deeply layered grain that has a mesmerizing mix of light tones and dark veins and a majestic, cathedral-like look. Beyond their striking appearance, these professional-grade guitars are equipped with Fishman® MX-T electronics and a soundhole tuner that auto mutes the output so your audience won’t know when you’re tuning. But the best part might be a price that’s every bit as attractive as the guitars.
