AB Team Gear: Glenn's Marshall Custom JTM Offset

A while ago, we have introduced our team members on social media. Now, it’s time for them to present their musical gear. Today, it’s time for our Brand Ambassador, Glenn Vanherle. Glenn started playing guitar at the age of 16 and he has a really nice collection of guitar and amplifiers at home. Today, he will show us a special vintage amp: The Marshall Custom JTM Offset.

The design of this limited edition amplifier is inspired by the early JTM45 Offset that was produced in small numbers by Marshall between late 1962 and 1963. The latest Offset is a limited edition hand-built offering from the Marshall Custom Shop, Bletchley, England.

Glenn: “I had once played this amp in a music store, but it was not for sale. I thought it sounded very good and it looked super cool, just like the first Marshalls that were built. This one sounds just like a JTM45 but quieter and more manageable for at home.”

Glenn: “I bought this amp secondhand about 4-5 years ago from someone who sold it via Facebook. Thanks to this amplifier I fell in love with the Marshall sound. It was my very first Marshall I ever bought and shortly after I bought an old 1978 JMP that I use for rehearsals and live. They will never leave my collection again.”
