AB Team Gear: Remco's Novation Peak

A while ago, we have introduced our team members on social media. Now, it’s time for them to present their musical gear. Today, AB Music sales representative, Remco Doorleijers, will present one of his favorite synthesizers: the Novation Peak.

When you walk into Remco’s home studio, there are probably a few vintage analog synthesizers that will attract your attention. Besides that, Remco is a huge fan of the hybrid Novation Peak module thanks to its own specific sound and broad modulation possibilities. In particular, the multimode filter in combination with three distortions and the digital oscillators provide sounds ranging from warm analog to caustic sharp.

Remco bought his Novation Peak about 3 years ago. He already worked for Algam Benelux and he bought one of the first models that were ever released.

 “I am happy that Novation, with the Peak and the Summit, once again is making professional hardware synthesizers, with the user at the center. Almost no menu structure, but equipped with many buttons. And through updates, many features are added at no additional cost. I know there will be a special limited version of the Novation Bass station at the end of this year, which is definitely on my wish list! Especially the new AFX "Aphex Twin" mode is great.”
