Paying tribute to Cordial’s 25th anniversary, they proudly present the “Edition 25” cables. They combine all the values that Cordial stands for and are available in three versions: as an instrument cable with 2 straight plugs, a version with a right-angled plug and also as an XLR microphone cable.

Edition 25 instrument cable

With the CXI PP Edition 25 Cordial presents an instrument cable with 2 straight connectors in a limited edition on the occasion of the company’s 25th anniversary in 2020. The result: an anthracite/copper-colored textile jacket cable, equipped with black Neutrik plugs and matching gold-plated contacts for effective corrrosion prevention.

The conductor cross-section of the specifically designed bulk cable is 0.50 mm² (AWG 21) and, thus, twice as high as that of conventional fabric cables. The pair shielding, i.e. the braiding of bare copper wires on conductive plastic to minimise microphonic effects, also contributes significantly to the great sound.

Edition 25 right angle instrument cable

25 years of CORDIAL means 25 years of experience in the field of instrument cables. A know-how which is reflected in a novel series of limited textile jacket cables. Visually appealing due to their textile jacket design in CORDIAL’s corporate colors anthracite and copper, the new bulk cable features a conductor cross-section of 0.50 mm² (comparable fabric cables usually only have a conductor cross-section of 0.22 mm²).

One of the limited variants, the CXI PR Edition 25 cable, is the solution for those musicians who prefer a right-angled plug on one end (i.e. one plug at a 90 degree angle and one straight plug). Both plugs are gold-plated to effectively protect them against corrosion.

The pair shielding, i.e. the braiding of bare copper wires on conductive plastic minimizes microphonic effects.

Edition 25 microphone cable

Singers who are looking for something particular to transport their vocal signals will find the cable of their choice in our CXM FM Edition 25. On the one hand, this XLR cable is limited, because it is presented in celebration of CORDIAL’s 25th anniversary. In addition, it features a textile jacket, which is not that common for microphone cables. This textile jacket is particularly beautiful to look at due to its color combination anthracite/copper (i.e. CORDIAL’s corporate colors).

Its black Neutrik XLR connectors featuring anticorrosive gold-plated contacts contribute to its attractive look and ensure an outstanding sound quality.

The brilliant sound quality is especially due to the proven textile braided CMK 234 bulk cable. Due to the conductor cross-section of 0.34 mm² / AWG 22, a pair shield of bare copper wires (twist/coil shielding) and a conductor resistance of 58 Ω / km, the vocal signals are transmitted 1:1 as originally recorded, i.e. without perceptible losses.
